Over the two years that Minimal Brew has existed, we've been blessed with customers who have had open conversations with us about their lives and daily needs. In this process, we uncovered a unique problem.
Everyone carries wallets. The modern minimalist carries a slim wallet: sleek and convenient. The problem? Anyone who has used a slim wallet knows that you can barely fit any notes in; much less coins.
Our customers wanted a wallet that was slim, but could cater to their needs for cash and coins. From this, the idea for Daily was born.
The Design Process
The market for wallets is saturated with options, and we aren't in the business of creating 'me-too' products. Minimal Brew is a passion project; since our customers were facing a very specific problem, our focus, while building the Daily, was function-first.
It started with the question: how slim and small can we make a wallet, while provisioning for a generous amount of cash, coins, and cards?
Once we had the design, our goal was to strip out the excess (thereby making it minimal), and to give it a premium finish that would feel good to hold and use.

The Craftsmanship
We placed as much importance on material and finishing as the design of the product. We wanted to build a wallet that would last a lifetime.
Initially, we were intent on Made-in-India, and spent a little shy of two months sourcing samples from Indian manufacturers, but were left dissatisfied with the quality of the material and finishing of the product.
After considerable effort and time spent on getting the right materials and manufacturing, the Daily that you order and receive today is manufactured with high-quality, imported vegan leather.
